We are Nathalie Grace and Sandra Skibsted, independent documentary filmmakers and producers. In 2022, we set up Gokotta Films to produce documentaries focussing on our planet and the people who do extraordinary work to preserve nature and wild habitats in conservation work, clean up and rewilding projects – work that we wholeheartedly believe in and are passionate about. Our aim is to bring these stories to you in compelling and captivating documentary films and series.

 

We are committed to sharing powerful and thought-provoking films that shed light on the pressing environmental and climate issues of our time. As storytellers, we're dedicated to capturing the beauty and complexity of the natural world, while highlighting the urgent need for action to protect it. Our combined experiences span countries and continents and amount to over 30 years of documentary filmmaking skills. From ice carving festivals to WW2, from Christmas entertainers to flying doctors, our stories have always been about real people.

 

With Gokotta Films, aiming to inspire and motivate, we’re placing the human/nature connection front square and centre in real stories from real people making a real change.
